Business Analyst - Analytic Insights

About the Role - Business Analyst We are looking for a detail-oriented and business-focused Business Analyst to join our Analytic Insights team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful business insights that support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze consumer, customer, and market data while creating impactful reports and dashboards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a US-based multinational client and collaborate with a global team across multiple business functions. Key Responsibilities of the Business Analyst Analyze and interpret consumer, customer, and market data to generate actionable insights Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support business decision-making Work with large, complex, and imperfect datasets to identify trends and opportunities Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions Define and track key business KPIs and performance metrics Present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reproducibility across projects Support strategic planning through data-backed recommendations Qualifications for the Business Analyst Role Education & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Marketing Analytics Marketing Research Business Economics Statistics Econometrics Data Science Or related quantitative fields 2–5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis roles Technical Skills Required for a Business Analyst Strong experience in synthesizing consumer, customer, and market data Ability to work with incomplete, unstructured, or complex datasets Strong data visualization and storytelling skills Proficiency in SQL, including: Data extraction Joins and aggregations Query optimization Business & Communication Skills Business Acumen Strong understanding of business objectives and decision-making processes Ability to connect analytical findings with measurable business outcomes Experience identifying and defining KPIs and performance metrics Communication Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Ability to communicate analytical insights clearly to non-technical audiences Comfortable presenting findings through dashboards, reports, and executive summaries Experience working with cross-functional teams across business, analytics, and engineering Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Opportunity to work with a globally distributed team Candidates should be comfortable working in the US time zone Typical working hours will begin from 12:30 PM IST onwards, based on project and client requirements Core Competencies Analytical and critical thinking Problem-solving mindset Strategic thinking and visioning Project management and prioritization Clear and persuasive communication Agility in handling multiple projects simultaneously Why Join Us?
