Remote Civil Litigation Attorney (1–3 Years Experience) Location: Fully Remote (Must currently reside in California) Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience Schedule: Monday – Friday | PST Business Hours PTO 401(k) About the Opportunity An established Southern California law firm is seeking a California-licensed Civil Litigation Attorney with 1–3 years of experience to join its growing team. This is a fully remote opportunity for an attorney looking to continue building strong litigation experience while working alongside a highly supportive and collaborative plaintiff-side legal team. This role is ideal for an early-career litigator who enjoys civil litigation work and is looking for meaningful hands-on experience in California litigation matters. While the firm handles plaintiff-side labor and employment matters, the primary focus of this role is strong civil litigation fundamentals — including discovery, motion drafting, legal research, case strategy, and litigation support. You will work closely with senior attorneys on active litigation matters, receiving mentorship and direct exposure to case development and litigation strategy in a supportive remote environment. The team values collaboration, responsiveness, growth, and attorneys who are eager to continue developing their litigation skillset. Prior labor and employment experience is absolutely a plus, but the firm is very open to attorneys coming from broader civil litigation backgrounds who are interested in learning and growing within employment-related litigation. Key Responsibilities Draft and respond to California civil discovery, including: Interrogatories Requests for Production Requests for Admission Prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation-related filings Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy Assist with case management, calendaring, and tracking litigation deadlines Review case files, records, and supporting documentation for litigation preparation Collaborate closely with senior attorneys throughout the litigation process Support plaintiff-side litigation matters from active case development through resolution Required Qualifications Active California Bar license in good standing 1–3 years of civil litigation experience preferred Experience with California civil discovery and motion drafting Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Familiarity with California state court procedures and deadlines Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Must currently reside in California Experience or exposure to plaintiff-side employment litigation is a plus! Experience managing multiple litigation matters simultaneously is also highly preferred.
