Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology

• Perform peripheral angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, and thrombolysis
• Conduct biopsies, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures
• Work with GE 4100 Innova equipment and document using MacLab and Meditech systems
• Coordinate with unit secretaries and techs in the Imaging Interventional Procedures department

Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology

• ACLS certification
• Experience in critical care with cardiac cath lab or radiology interventional procedures
