The Division of Endocrinology at Albany Medical College is currently recruiting for an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. In this role, you will be active in clinical care and provide education to students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities and Opportunities

  • Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology)
  • Exposure to a wide variety of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center
  • Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team , including Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (CDCES)
  • Utilize an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs
  • Emphasize a collegial environment with a focus on multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and research
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Opportunity to work in specific areas of endocrinology (e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine) if interested.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology
  • Strong commitment to education and teaching
  • Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment

Competitive salary range $200,000-$220,000 with incentive bonus opportunity.
