Operating Room Nurse - DaysLocation Glens Falls, New YorkAssignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule Days; 7 AM - 5:30 PM, with flexibility to evenings if needed.Job Description The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality surgical patient care through assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care before, during, and after surgery. The position primarily involves circulating in the operating room, with scrub experience considered a valuable asset.Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and plan appropriate nursing interventions. Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment. Provide pre and post-operative patient education. Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being throughout the surgical care continuum. Coordinate and integrate patient care across various surgical specialties.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2+ years of current operating room experience. Experience in vascular surgery and orthopedic surgery is required. Travel experience is preferred. EPIC electronic medical record experience is mandatory. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Must have both scrub and circulate experience. New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate is required.
