Partner with the best As a Jr. Field Service Engineer, you will provide services that will range in scope from performing standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of Waygate Technologies Equipment: Phoenix 2D & 3D CT X‑ray Testing machine hardware and software products at Waygate and customer locations. Travel expected in excess of 70%. As a Jr. Field Service Engineer, after a rigorous Technical Training Program you will be responsible for: Maintain, repair, and install industrial x‑ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment, such as: X‑ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high voltage control circuits, motion control and high‑end PCs. Providing customers with technical support via phone and onsite service. Providing timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements. Being responsible for driving customer satisfaction from commitment through quality service standards. Monitoring site safety during work scope execution. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will require: Possess a four‑year technical degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME). The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example: verification of past employment, criminal history, driving record and educational background. Be able to travel up to 70% of the time for work. Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport). Must currently hold valid US citizenship status. In this role, we can offer the following flexible working patterns: 70% or more travel. You will be paid for travel time as well as overtime if more than 8 hours are worked a day. Baker Hughes will issue a non‑bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full‑time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. The range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation.
