Tacos Chidos Restaurant Team Member
We're hiring restaurant team members for our quick service taqueria concept, Tacos Chidos, in Fremont, CA. If you're energized by a fast-paced environment, love working with food, and take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere, this is your opportunity to join a vibrant and customer-first team.
As a restaurant team member, you'll play a key role in delivering fresh, flavorful food and friendly service that keeps guests coming back. This position offers both full-time and part-time shifts, with growth opportunities for those interested in developing their careers in foodservice or hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism
- Accurately take and enter orders using the POS system
- Prepare and assemble food-menu items to company quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining, kitchen, and service areas
- Food prep and cooking, including proper handling of ingredients
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Support team goals by staying proactive and engaged during busy periods
- Participate in opening, closing, and shift change duties
- Take direction from leadership and complete additional tasks as needed
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
- 50% discounted meals while on duty
- Prior restaurant or customer service experience is required
- Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with kitchen equipment and handling food
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
