Adult Gastroenterologist

The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at Tufts Medical Center is seeking a full time Gastroenterology Physician to join our expanding academic team in Boston, Massachusetts. We are recruiting a physician at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor with a specialty in general gastroenterology.

We welcome applications from:

• General Gastroenterologists seeking a broad-based academic and clinical gastroenterology career, or

• Gastroenterologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor whose focus is on diseases of malabsorption, maldigestion and nutritional complications of GI disease . Included among the conditions this physician will manage are: pancreatic insufficiency, celiac disease, short gut syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, protein-calorie malnutrition, and vitamin and mineral deficits. An established outpatient program in these disorders already exists, which includes a full-time dietitian, physician assistant, and a nationally-recognized physician in this field.

If you are interested in practicing General Gastroenterology , you will become an integral member of our growing GI team, providing comprehensive care for patients. You will perform general gastroenterology care to patients, while working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

If you are interested in Gastroenterology with a focus on Nutrition , we can offer the flexibility to maintain broad gastroenterology care, while developing a specialized focus in nutrition-related GI disorders.

Who you are:

• Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology

The salary range for this position is $408,313 to $458,520 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
