Worship Pastor/Leader

General Leadership Responsibilities Have a complete commitment to the vision of Lakepointe Church Participate, as a member of the pastoral leadership team, attending necessary meetings and special events. Works collaboratively with the pastors to plan unified services that align with the sermon series and church vision. Organized, pastoral, and team-oriented, able to empower volunteers, foster spiritual growth, and deliver meaningful worship experiences that help people encounter Jesus and respond in faith. Excellent communicator and team builder — able to rally and inspire volunteers. Participate in all staff meetings and retreats. Oversee the Lakepointe branding and marketing. This includes the web presence (website, social media), emails, direct mailing, and marketing. Meet regularly with the Lead Pastor and Executive Pastor, allowing all parties to stay informed. Worship Pastor Responsibilities Oversight and direction of the worship and tech ministries. Recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers Follow up with and recruit new team members Create set lists while coordinating with the sermon series Set up and run rehearsal & communicate with teams In consultation with senior church leadership, develop an annual budget for Worship and Tech and operate within the constraints of that budget. Train and equip worship and tech Prepare Scriptures & thoughts to help the congregation engage with God through worship & added elements of service Possess a shepherd’s heart Oversee choirs, ensembles, praise teams, bands, seasonal programs, and special events. Ensure all instruments, AVL, and media equipment are maintained and upgraded as needed. Oversee streaming, sound, and video ministries, providing both technical excellence and spiritual leadership. Worship and Tech Staff/Volunteer Responsibilities Entrusted with overseeing our Creative Team. Plan, oversee, and direct Sunday morning worship. Oversee Sunday morning worship without leading worship every week. Shepherd, Lead, Disciple, and Coach volunteers. Schedule volunteers. Ensure rehearsals run smoothly. Collaborate with our Next-Gen team to help fulfill their worship needs. Lead by example in supporting the major ministries and outreach events of Lakepointe. Loyalty to the vision and staff of Lakepointe, always protect the unity God has given this church. Investing and inviting the lost to know Jesus Christ and “come” to Lakepointe Church. Key Performance Indicators Recruit and retain volunteers for Worship and Tech ministries. Guide the worship and Tech teams to be involved in other church activities, such as small groups or discipleship programs, indicating integration into the broader church community. Build a sustainable leadership pipeline within the worship ministry. Ensure team members are not just \"performers\" but are growing spiritually themselves.
