Phlebotomist II Float – Voorhees, NJ Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 8:30 PM with rotational weekends. Job Overview As a Phlebotomist floater, you will cover patient service centers, doctor’s offices, and other facilities as needed, ensuring quality blood collection and specimen preparation. Responsibilities Cover assigned territory and perform phlebotomy duties at patient service centers, doctor’s offices, or other sites. Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing. Collect specimens for drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams. Enter billing information and collect payment when required. Coach, mentor, and instruct new employees; serve as a resource advisor for onsite staff and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor. Travel to additional doctor’s offices or patient service center sites when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Minimum two years in a patient service center environment preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience.
