Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Veteran Disability Evaluations

Our organization is in search of a committed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to become part of our team, focusing on medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as a component of the VA's disability benefits process. This position entails performing targeted, in-person physical examinations and electronically reviewing medical records to fulfill the necessary documentation for the VA.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
Examine and interpret electronic medical records through a secure online portal.
Thoroughly document examination results and complete the required VA paperwork.
Offer medical insights based on your evaluation findings.

Important: This position does not include treatment or medication prescriptions. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is responsible for making disability determinations, not the provider.

Position Overview:

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
Location: In-person role.
Caseload: 3-5 Veterans daily.
Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
Comfortable utilizing technology for record reviews and documentation.
