Shift Manager

This Shift Manager role is with a McDonald’s franchise restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters. Managers lead shifts each week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience during each visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks that may include planning each shift, monitoring performance, taking action to meet McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for a great shift. Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting target goals during shifts and helping assigned departments meet their objectives. As a Shift Manager, You May Be Responsible For Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
