Facilities Operations Specialist

Responsibilities Manage and operate facility security systems for access control, intrusion detection, and electronic surveillance Operate Avigilon in support of facility operations and security manager directed investigations Monitor, test, and report status of security systems to the Command Security Manager Conduct semi-annual tests per requirements Respond, assess, troubleshoot, repair security system components as needed Coordinate with security managers, network engineers, and security specialists as required Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years additional education and/or related experience Basic technical knowledge (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical) Mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair General understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently. Level 2: 2 years additional education and/or related experience Level 3: 4 years additional education and/or related experience Level 4: 6 years additional education and/or related experience Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in managing and operating facility security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and electronic surveillance.
