About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room / Circulate Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days + Call Hours per Shift: 36 Guaranteed Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: 2 years of experience in the operating room. Neurosurgery experience preferred. Flu vaccine is required. 100-mile radius rule applies. No more than 3 days of time off may be requested during the contract. Description: Responsible for circulating in the operating room and managing the care of patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Handles approximately 120 cases per month. Surgical specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, total joints, podiatry, obstetrics and gynecology including cesarean sections, endoscopy, neurosurgery, robotics, ENT, and cataracts. Familiarity with equipment such as Hana Tables, Stryker, Arthrex, and Medacta is required. Shift typically runs from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM. Call schedule requires 7-10 days of call per month, including weekends. Availability for on-call from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM is necessary. Facility reserves the right to cancel shifts as needed during the assignment.
