You also receive a 20% discount on all meals at our on-campus restaurants.WHAT YOU DO:As a Housekeeper at Luther Acres, you're an integral part of ensuring our buildings and workspaces are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. You'll do this by performing a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:Dust and polish furniture; stock supplies; clean wash basins, tubs, and commodes; empty wastepaper baskets in resident, team member, and client areas, and collect and dispose of garbage in designated areas.Perform dry and wet mopping of floors; operate vacuums, carpet extractors, and pressure washers; and clean windows, screens, ceiling lights, walls, and window treatments.Clean and prepare residential living spaces in preparation for new residents.Assist with laundry operations, which includes operating washers, dryers, irons, and collecting and delivering laundry from and to designated areas.Qualifications/Requirements:Ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds frequentlyAbility to push/pull up to fifteen (15) pounds of force frequentlyAbility to perform the functions required to push large carts, handcarts, appliance dollies and vacuum cleaners/carpet extractors.Preferred Job-Related Experience/Abilities/Education:One (1) year of directly related experienceBasic computer skillsABOUT LUTHER ACRES:Luther Acres – located in the charming, historic town of Lititz – is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with a long history of providing excellent care and services.
