Senior Accountant

Position Overview


The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and strengthening internal controls. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure alignment between financial data and operational activities.

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Manage general ledger entries, including matching vendor invoices to the appropriate accounting periods in accordance with company policies
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, fixed assets, and other key financial data
• Review and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions
• Develop, maintain, and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and production teams to ensure financial data aligns with operational processes
• Cross-train in all accounting support functions to ensure business continuity and improve efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
