Staff Accountant

Beacon Hill is supporting a top employer in Middlesex County, NJ, in finding multiple Staff Accountants to join their team. Our client is growing rapidly and is seeking accounting and finance graduates, as well as Staff Accountants with 1-3 years of experience. The team is open to candidates from all industries, and those with operational accounting experience. 1-3 years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Position Summary Manage general ledger accounting and month-end close processes Support the preparation of and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules Support financial reporting and internal controls Assist with audit preparation and external auditor requests Monitor and analyze expense accounts and accruals Ensure compliance with firm policies and accounting standards Partner with finance leadership on ad hoc projects and process improvements Technical Qualifications BS in Accounting or Finance 1-3+ years of accounting experience required Ability to start immediately / ASAP Comfortable working in an onsite professional environment Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
