Business Processing Specialist/CCS Category: Administration Main location: United States, Florida, Tampa Position ID: J0526-0944 Employment Type: Full Time Position Description: Central Contract Specialist CGI Federal's Housing Compliance team partners with a local public housing authority and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to assist in the provision of affordable housing. This role offers an opportunity to join an energetic team with a collaborative management group and work with affordable housing owners and management companies within an assigned portfolio of properties. New team members receive in-depth training and ongoing professional development opportunities in the affordable housing industry and general business skills. Your future duties and responsibilities Report to Asset Manager/Central Services Manager in carrying out core task processing. Manage a portfolio of assisted housing contracts to ensure accurate and timely completion of all required tasks: Perform detailed reconciliation of monthly payments to property owners. Renew expiring Housing Assistance Payments contracts. Perform annual contract rent adjustments. Evaluate and approve owner's claims for reimbursement due to unpaid rent, tenant damages, and vacancies. Maintain property files and records retention in accordance with HUD and corporate policy. Maintain positive relations with owners, residents, and representatives, neighborhood groups, and local governments. Perform administrative office duties (e.g., managing general mailbox, supplies, and minor tasks). Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required qualifications Associate's degree preferred or significant relevant experience. Professional, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word. Mathematics, data entry, record keeping, and account management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Portfolio management. Compensation Compensation range: $38,800.00 - $70,300.00. Determination of range depends on various factors. Compensation decisions are made case by case.
