Position:- Registered Nurse

Location:- Macomb, IL

Role Type:- Full Time

General summary:

The RN will successfully complete orientation and hospital-wide and department-specific CBL's (computerized based learning). The RN will participate in departmental in services and will demonstrate competency by completing the service specific competency testing / evaluation process, as appropriate to the RN role. Continuing education programs will be offered to augment the RN's knowledge of pertinent developments in patient care and to foster a performance improvement environment.

ABILITIES, INTERESTS AND TEMPERAMENTS:

Ability to organize, manage, and function to provide professional nursing care based on scientific principles, basic behavioural concepts, and intelligent professional judgement.
Ability to recognize the need for adjustment and flexibility in nursing care functions so as to maintain quality nursing care in all types of situations.
Ability to accept and constructively utilize supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with individuals and families.
