DataStaff, Inc . is currently seeking an IT Senior Automation Test Lead for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC .

Our client is seeking a Senior Automation Testing Lead to support the Managed Care Transition Project. The role involves leading automation testing efforts for a critical in-house developed system, including assessing testability of requirements, developing test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents, and executing functional, integration, and regression tests. The position requires hands-on experience with HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions such as 837I 837P and NCPDP D.0, developing SQL queries, scripting automated test suites, and reviewing test results.

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Assess the testability of requirements and develop test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
\n
• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests.
\n
• Test EDI applications, including HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions such as 837I 837P and NCPDP D.0.
\n
• Develop and execute test scripts for automation testing.
\n
• Review, analyze, and report test results.
\n
• Manage tests and defect tracking using tools like HP ALM and JIRA.
\n
• Test web applications, including healthcare claims processing.
\n
• Work closely with end-users to ensure comprehensive user acceptance testing.
\n
• Coordinate effectively within the team and prioritize concurrent deadlines.
\n
• Communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
\n

Required Skills:

\n

\n
• 2 Years - Experience in developing and executing test scripts related to X12 EDI Transmission such as 837i, 839, NCPDP D.0
\n
• 2 Years - Demonstrated proficiency in conducting QA and testing on EDI applications
\n
• 5 Years - Experience assessing the testability of requirements and developing test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
\n
• 5 Years - Experience in the execution of functional, integration and regression tests.
\n
• 3 Years - Experience with Healthcare Claims Processing Testing.
\n
• 3 Years - Experience in the review, analysis and reporting of test results.
\n
• 3 Years - Experience on testing web applications
\n
• 2 Years - Proven experience developing SQL queries.
\n
• 1 Year - Experience in scripting automated Test Suites.
\n
• 2 Years - Experience in working with the Business Teams to write Business and QA Documents.
\n

Desired Skills:

• 2 Years - Hands-on experience with Test and Defect Management Tools. HP ALM, JIRA
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and business audiences.

• 2 Years - Knowledge of Agile Methodology
