Electrical Project Manager / Estimator

Seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to oversee electrical construction projects from estimating through project completion. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, managing project budgets, coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and field teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate estimates.
• Perform material take-offs and obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and field personnel.
• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and project specifications.
• Track project costs, manage change orders, and provide regular project status updates.
• Support project submittals, RFIs, purchasing, and invoicing activities.
• Attend project meetings and act as the primary liaison between all project stakeholders.
• Assist with labor planning and provide guidance to field supervisors and foremen.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, project management, and/or estimating.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems and NEC requirements.
• Experience with estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction-related software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and electrical calculations.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
