Contract: 13 Weeks


Schedule: Day Shift | 10-Hour Shifts

About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Medical Oncology Clinic for a 13-week contract opportunity in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This position supports patients in an outpatient oncology clinic, providing compassionate, patient-centered care throughout their cancer treatment journey. Clinic oncology experience is required. This is not an Infusion RN position.

Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor treatment progress, and communicate changes to the care team.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Document patient assessments and care accurately using Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.


Requirements
• Active Colorado Registered Nurse License or Compact RN License required.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Oncology Clinic nursing experience required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card required.
• Strong communication, patient education, and clinical assessment skills.
