We are currently seeking a Vice President to join us in our Chicago, IL (Loop) office. Vice Presidents are responsible for providing thought leadership and managing a portfolio of client relationships, engagements and project teams. Our employee-owners enjoy a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.What you will be doing:Leading valuation and advisory projects (Opinions and Consultancy)Manage valuation engagements to support the ESOP Valuation practice, providing oversight of associate and analyst staffResponsible for valuation analysis and client work product accuracy and integritySignificant time spent coaching, training and overseeing analysts and associatesLead client and partner meetings, presenting deliverables and justifying analysis to clients, boards, shareholders and trusteesParticipate in ESOP industry events and conferences, including presentations, webinars, relationship management, and/or business development.Operational efficiency in keeping internal reporting systems up to date (Sage Intacct, Salesforce)What do we look for in candidates?Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/economics; MBA or relevant advanced degree or certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.Six – Ten years of previous experience developing financial models, managing valuation engagements, transactions involving stock ownership and other financial advisory projectsDeep understanding and application of valuation theory and corporate financeAbility to present complex analysis and/or communicate difficult messaging to project teams, clients, boards, shareholders and trusteesIndependently lead projectsAbility to lead and mentor staffHighly effective communication, analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesSalary Range: $125,000 - $220,000, with additional discretionary bonusBenefits Statement:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance: Comprehensive coverage to meet your healthcare needs.
