Project Accountant

Project Accountant Nashville, TN Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related directly to bookkeeping for multiple projects on the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of construction accounting and progressive billing.Responsibilities Include:Project cost reporting and analysisGather documentation such as risk mitigation compliance, bonds, insurance certificates, etc.Ensures weekly AP review, AIA billingManage bank depositsSet up new customers and manage job contractsReconcile expense reportsCost coding invoicesWorks closely with financial institution partners and vendorsTakes ownership of projects to ensure high quality resultsQualifications: Construction accounting experience-requiredMinimum of 2+ years of recent construction/manufacturing accounting experienceExperience in either Intacct, Procore, Foundation, Spectrum, Viewpoint, xhyhwjd Textura, etc. is highly sought afterExcel- AdvancedSalaried Position ($65-70,000 + bonus), Direct Hire This is an onsite position located in metro Nashville (west side), TN. M-F (40 hours/week) with flexibility on start/end times.Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k matching and a PTO/Holiday Pay
