Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves providing critical care in a busy emergency department with a focus on teamwork, flexibility, and positive patient interactions. The unit is equipped with GE cardiac monitoring and staffed with a dedicated team of registered nurses, emergency department technicians, and medics, operating primarily during night shifts to ensure optimal patient coverage.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse; CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications; open to candidates with 0 or more years of experience; located in or willing to work in Richmond, VA
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC); previous experience in a healthcare facility setting; experience performing procedures typical of emergency departments
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Candidates must be available for weekend shifts. The position entails working in a fast-paced emergency environment, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population. Standard dress code is navy scrubs.
