Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 24 months CVICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice Certifications: ACLS, BLS (both from approved vendors) Must-Have: - Must have a minimum of 24 months CVICU experience - Life support certifications must be from an approved vendor - No infractions on state license to practice - Driver's license to verify residency - RTO cannot exceed 7 days; no RTO during the first week of assignment Description: Navy scrubs are required. Weekends and holidays will follow unit guidelines. Preference for candidates with two years of CVICU experience, especially in direct open-heart recovery and experience with Impella and Balloon pumps. Candidates must indicate all facilities they are willing to work in. Candidates must specify all shifts they are willing to work. Candidates must list all departments in which they have experience and are willing to work. All candidates submitted should be pre-closed and ready to accept. Immediate notification is required if the candidate withdraws or is no longer available. Candidates should complete a CVICU skills checklist in the last 12 months. Active license verification should occur within the last 30 days. Driver's license verification is required. Travel experience is highly preferred.
