Job Description

We are seeking experienced Travel Electricians with experience in industrial or data center construction. This role involves installing, terminating, testing, and commissioning low-voltage (480V) and medium-voltage (15kV-35kV) electrical systems at project sites across the country.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, cable tray, duct bank, cable, and electrical equipment.
• Perform 480V and medium-voltage terminations (15kV/35kV).
• Read and work from blueprints, one-lines, and electrical drawings.
• Assist with system testing, energization, and commissioning.
• Follow all NFPA 70E, OSHA, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
• Use testing equipment such as multimeters and meggers.
• Work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of industrial or data center electrical construction experience.
• 5+ years of medium-voltage experience (5kV+ required).
• Experience with 15kV and/or 35kV cable terminations.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and perform hands-on installation work.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910.269, and LOTO procedures.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Work Environment

This is a field-based, construction-focused role working primarily on industrial and data-center build projects rather than operating plants or facilities maintenance. The role is hourly with overtime and requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and extended shifts during critical construction and energization periods. You travel 80% or more on a rotation to active construction sites, with per diem and/or housing provided while on site. Work is physically demanding and performed at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southaven, MS.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Southaven,MS.
