The ideal candidate will have a passion for emergency medicine, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities\n \n Deliver patient care in the Emergency Department to individuals of all age groups.\n Assess and monitor patients effectively, including those experiencing high acuity conditions such as chest pain, abdominal pain, and sepsis.\n Administer medications such as antibiotics, narcotics, and emergency medications as prescribed.\n Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.\n Utilize TeleHealth services and focus on purposeful rounding to enhance patient experience.\n Qualifications\n \n Valid nursing license (BSN preferred).\n Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.\n Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIHSS, Workplace Violence Training (HSS Team).\n Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.\n Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to ask questions.\n Work Environment\n \n Trauma Level: STEMI Receiving Stroke Center, certified stroke center.\n Total beds/trauma bays: 18 beds.\n Patient ratios: 1:4-5 based on acuity.\n EMR System: EPIC.\n Shifts: 12-hour shifts, including day and night rotations.\n Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.\n Dress code: Navy Blue scrubs.\n Orientation and Training\n New hires will undergo 2 shifts of department-specific orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the role.Additional Notes\n Candidates are required to adhere to fingernail policies and must present a valid driver's license upon submission.
