Facilities Maintenance MechanicSRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic.What You'll DoPerforming routine maintenance around SRC facilitiesRepairing broken or leaking plumbingRepairing damaged electrical wiringMaintaining the building HVAC equipmentApplying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problemsFixing potential safety hazardsLight carpentry workSnow removal and landscaping duties as neededWhat You'll BringHigh school diploma, two-year degree from a technical school preferredDemonstrated experience as a maintenance technicianStrong understanding of general maintenance processes and methodsExperience with building management systems and work order systemsSpecific knowledge/skills in the following areas:PlumbingElectrical wiringCarpentryHVACWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devicesExperienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers, and small hand toolsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodationsExcellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skillsAbility to be on-call off-hours and weekends to address facility emergencies as they ariseWays to Stand OutExperience with electrical installations and diagnostics.Two-year degree from a technical school preferred.Current Secret security clearance.What Sets Us Apart? Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $45,000 to $55,000 annually.
