Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in NACOGDOCHES, Texas. This role involves providing direct clinical care to patients in the emergency department, ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing services on a night shift schedule. The position requires collaboration with clinical staff and supporting the facilitys nursing leadership to maintain optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in emergency nursing, valid nursing license in Texas, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience in an emergency room setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are preferred.
• Additional Information: The emergency department nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct patient care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The role supports the facility Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high standards, competency, and effective resource management related to patient care.
