Senior Underwriting Consultant

Analyzing Financial Protection Products, the full-time Senior Underwriting Consultant will assess risk, provide rating methodologies, and develop pricing and plan design options while working remotely from anywhere within the U.S. Key responsibilities Prepare financial modeling for reserve and budget calculations aligned with client strategies Evaluate risk for Life, LTD, STD, and supplemental health products, ensuring accuracy in renewals and proposals Deliver competitive proposals and renewal analyses, serving as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior underwriters Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in group insurance underwriting across various products Experience with large case underwriting and group pricing development Proficiency in mentoring and training others in underwriting practices Mastery of product provisions, plan designs, and funding arrangements Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite, particularly Word and Excel
