Job Description:

Peds experience required. Candidates will shadow for 2 12-hour shifts, with 1 day of training and 1 day focused on charting. There is a good chance for overtime, with the potential of 1-2 extra shifts per week. Residents in this facility require extra attention at times, and candidates must be comfortable being responsible for CNA cares. The role involves working with a Peds ratio of 1:6, with the assistance of Respiratory Therapists (RT) available if needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide care and attention to residents who may be more needy than typical
Responsible for CNA duties
Work in cooperation with Respiratory Therapists as needed

Requirements:

Pediatric nursing experience
Comfortable with trach and vent care in a long-term care or nursing home setting
