CNC Operator Department: Manufacturing & Distribution - Skilled Jobs Employment Type: Full Time Location: Columbia, PA - Plant Reporting To: Chuck Moore Compensation: $23.50 - $40.00 / hour Description As a CNC Operator at ASC, you will work in the Machine shop and have the opportunity to perform all CNC operations pertaining to the machining of threaded pipe fittings and to ensure the safety of all functions. How You Will Help Operator trained to load a part safely, start the machine cycle and remove the part when completed. Perform a visual quality inspection of the part. Notify the supervisor or lead of any issues Operate all CNC Equipment (mills/lathes) Complete necessary product quality inspections and documentation Place completed parts in the appropriate container How to use the Emergency-stop in the event of a machine malfunction or unusual noise Must maintain quality & productivity objectives in single and multiple equipment operation Capable of learning how to report daily production in M3 Must be trainable in the use of precise measuring equipment & quality inspection. Must be able to comprehend product identification and quality standards Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned. What You Will Bring Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Must be able to discern imperfections, understand quality of repairs of iron holders / ladles. Must be able to understand basic addition to tally units per training. Must be able to learn job duties and locations from verbal instructions. Must be available for weekend and overtime assignments as required.
