Field Service Technician (Entry Level) - Savannah, GA

Job Overview Job Location: Savannah. Position: Senior Field Service Technician (Internal Job Title – Sr. Field Service Technician). This full‑time role involves independently installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining chemical dispensing equipment used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations. The focus is on exceptional customer service and retention, not sales. The position includes a competitive healthcare plan and retirement benefits. Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, and repair chemical dispensing equipment and other commercial equipment.

• Maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Use laptop and mobile devices for data entry, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Qualifications • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills with provided training.

• Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems with root cause analysis skills.
• Moderate working knowledge of appropriate tools, data, implements, and service needs.
• Proficient in laptop, cell phone, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive 30% of the day in various conditions.
• Ability to travel overnight occasionally.

Essential Job Functions Work schedule: 5‑day week, 8 hours per day; may include 12‑hour shifts, occasional weekends, and night shifts. Physical requirements: lift, lower, and carry objects up to 50lbs; push and pull up to 50lbs; climb a vertical ladder; climb stairs; stand, sit, walk for long periods, twist, bend at knees, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, reach for installation and maintenance tasks. Work surfaces: concrete, asphalt (uneven). Operate computer keyboard to input and access data, and use phone. Recognize visual and audible alarms and signals for equipment startup, evacuation, and fire. Operate a motor vehicle for travel between accounts in city, rural, and expressway conditions. Work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and variable warehouse conditions with dust and dirt. Other Requirements • Must reside in the specified city. • On‑call coverage may include occasional weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
