Work full-time with a dedicated middle school caseload, delivering high-quality general education instruction in English while developing lesson plans that inspire critical thinking, communication, and self-expression.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid teaching certification appropriate for general education English in the state
- Experience teaching English language arts at the middle school level
- Strong command of classroom management and differentiated instruction
- Ability to create and adapt engaging lesson plans for diverse learning styles
- Excellent communication skills for building relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Comfort with integrating technology and innovative teaching tools
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic and standards-based English instruction to middle school students
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that foster reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support
- Collaborate with other educators and staff on curriculum planning and school initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation and respect
- Engage with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
