Job Description
All Tex Staffing is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Yard Mule Operators for a busy industrial yard in Baytown, TX. This role involves operating yard trucks to move trailers and containers within the facility, supporting logistics and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate yard mule trucks to transport trailers between loading docks, staging areas, and storage zones
- Perform routine inspections of equipment before and after use
- Communicate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate trailer movements
- Maintain accurate records of trailer locations and movements
- Follow all site safety protocols and traffic guidelines
- Assist with general yard organization and cleanliness as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience operating yard mules or similar equipment preferred
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and adapt to changing weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and situational awareness
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
