Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT and CRT certification for a hospital assignment using Aria/Varian Linacs on a Monday-Friday day shift schedule.

Details

• 13-week assignment in a hospital Radiation Therapy department
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
• No call requirements
• Uses Aria/Varian Linacs for treatment delivery
• Uses EPIC for electronic medical records

Requirements

• CRT in Radiation Therapy license required if applicable
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years concurrent experience in specialty required, with 1.5 years continuous experience in the same unit/ratios
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months required
• Minimum 1 year total travel experience required, with 6+ months of continuous recent travel experience
• Copies of all required certifications must be valid and current, no pending or expired certifications accepted
• 1 supervisory-level professional reference required

Additional Information

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments using Aria/Varian Linac equipment
• No first-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Previous employees or travelers may return after a 1-year waiting period
• Maximum 7 days RTO permitted, with no additional RTO requests after submission
• Candidates must not reside within 100 miles of the facility to be considered, except LVNs/MAs
• Candidates currently on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or longer are considered local and are not eligible
