Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: MedSurg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years recent acute care experience License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have Qualifications: - 2+ years recent acute care experience - Experience with Meditech IVs and telemetry - Ability to adapt quickly to different units - Ability to independently read telemetry strips - Must pass on-site exam on Day 1 with a score of 84% or better (2 attempts) - EPIC experience Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with recent acute care experience. The role involves working a 12-hour day shift. Staff will need to be adaptable to various MedSurg/Tele units. Candidates must be able to independently read telemetry strips. There is a requirement to pass an on-site exam on the first day of work. Most Fridays will be required, and no specific schedule requests will be accommodated. Candidates should not have extended time off requests. Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of previous float experience in similar settings is preferred. Adaptability to work in up to five different MedSurg/Tele units is essential.
