Custodian Positions AvailableUW Medical Center - Northwest Environmental Services has an outstanding opportunity for multiple Custodian positions.Work Schedule100% FTE (40 hours per week), Day shift, 7:00am-3:30pm - Rotating every other weekend, holiday commitments100% FTE (40 hours per week), Night shift, 11:00pm-7:30am - Rotating every other weekend, holiday commitments60% FTE (32 hours per week), Night shift, 11:00pm-7:30am - Rotating every other weekend, holiday commitments60% FTE (32 hours per week), Evening shift, 3:00pm-11:30pm - Rotating every other weekend, holiday commitmentsPosition HighlightsThe Custodian performs daily cleaning of all patient and non-patient areas, handles waste, and maintains a sanitary, orderly and attractive environment.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms general facility cleaning and maintenance of both patient rooms and non-patient areasMakes beds and performs check-out cleaningCleans and disinfects restrooms and fixturesDust mops, wet mops, and vacuums floors, dusts and spot cleans/disinfects furniture and horizontal surfacesEmpties wastebaskets and trash containers, removes trash and disinfects wastebasketsConsistently follows hospital and departmental safety procedures.
