VP of Credit - Private Credit & Asset-Based Lending

Leading NY based, specialty finance firm, which provides asset-based lending, receivables purchasing, and loan acquisitions, is looking to add an VP of Credit to the team.

Vice President of Credit centers on leading underwriting, structuring, and risk management for credit transactions, including asset-based facilities and private credit investments. Will be responsible for evaluating deals, managing portfolio risk, and overseeing a team of analysts and associates. Performing borrower due diligence, building and guiding financial models, structuring deal terms (e.g., advance rates, covenants), presenting credit memos to senior stakeholders, and designing stress testing frameworks.

Required:

• 5–8 years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or securitization, with strong financial analysis, modeling, and credit underwriting expertise. (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• proficiency in loan documentation, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead complex transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, along with proven leadership, analytical ability, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
