Nation Security is hiring professional and dependable Armed Security Officers to join our dedicated team. In this position, you will play a vital role in protecting employees, visitors, and property while creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Protect assigned personnel and property from harassment, vandalism, and other unauthorized or harmful actions.
- Maintain your weapon in proper working order and ensure it is secured at all times.
- Use your weapon only in extreme situations, after all non-violent options have been exhausted.
- Participate in refresher training for weapon use as required.
- Complete and submit detailed incident reports for all significant events.
- Ensure all security equipment and measures are functional and in excellent condition.
- Implement new security procedures when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, professional uniform and wear it at all times while on duty.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Class D Security License (required)
- Valid Florida Class G Security License (required)
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with reliable transportation
- Flexible availability , including overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with reporting systems
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
- Smartphone required for reporting and communication
- Must provide own equipment
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism under pressure
