Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) – Inpatient

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy assistant services on the inpatient rehabilitation unit and/or acute care unit
• Manage a caseload averaging approximately 12 patients on the inpatient rehab unit
• Participate in co-treatment sessions with a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the acute care setting as applicable
• Deliver patient care in accordance with established treatment plans and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• NBCOT certification
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current skills checklist pertinent to the specialty (within the last year)
• Two supervisory references taken within the last two years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel/contract assignment experience preferred
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings
