Certified Apartment Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a well-established apartment community in Texarkana, TX . If you have experience in apartment maintenance and enjoy troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential communities, we'd love to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform apartment make-readies, including repairs, painting, and unit preparation.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the property.
• Assist with grounds upkeep and ensure the community remains clean and presentable.
• Repair drywall, doors, windows, locks, cabinets, flooring, and other building components.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls when needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with residents and management.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Certification is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
