Health System Specialist

Duties

Consults on matters pertaining to the availability and management of network health care administration and delivery.

Monitors network trends and recommends actions to improve network adequacy.

Performs reviews, special analyses, studies and evaluations of the operations requirements necessary for the integrated delivery of health care in the region.

Implements partnership agreements to ensure optimization of healthcare resources.

Provides recommendations to resolve a wide variety of complex and controversial healthcare issues.

Develops and refines appropriate metrics intended to monitor progress toward achieving goals.

Interprets laws, regulations, policies and procedures from Congressional legislation, Department of Defense, Agency and other applicable guidance.
