Mountain View Surgery Center of Scottsdale is hiring a Patient Care Technician Part Time. Welcome to USPI Mountain View Surgery Center of Scottsdale. USPI Mountain View Surgery Center of Scottsdale is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Tuesday and Thursday coverage is what is needed.

Job Description and Duties: Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical and/or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Required Skills: Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant or clinical training preferred
• One year experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified is preferred
• Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories
• Patient Interviewing skills
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
• Ability to perform routine invasive procedures, such as venipuncture, and EKG
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
