Job DescriptionDescription:Senior Testing Lead / Engineer – Mobile ApplicationsPlatforms: iOS & AndroidRole Type: Handson ContributorRole SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Testing Engineer to support customerfacing mobile applications across North American and Mexico. The role focuses on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for existing and new services, validating endtoend user experiences across mobile applications and supporting systems. This role requires a highly adaptable engineer who can onboard quickly to new capabilities, contribute to quality initiatives, and support evolving program needs.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute UAT testing for mobile applications on iOS and AndroidValidate endtoend customer journeys including:App onboarding and account setupCore feature functionalityElectric Charging and SchedulingNotifications, subscriptions, and entitlementsNew features introduced through platform releasesTest across supported environments, simulators, and test setupsValidate behavior under varying system conditions and connectivity scenariosDefect Management & TriageLog defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps, evidence, and impact assessmentSupport firstlevel defect triage:Assist in identifying likely failure areas across application and service layersProvide supporting evidence (screenshots, videos, logs) as appropriateRecommend severity and priority and support retesting of fixesAdaptability & Scalability ExpectationsQuickly onboard to new services, backend changes, or platform updatesSupport or contribute to automation initiatives when requiredAssist with ad hoc testing, release validation, hotfix verification, or production issue analysis during critical periodsContinuously evolve test approaches based on product maturity and release cadenceTest Management & CollaborationExecute and maintain UAT test cases in TestRailProvide clear UAT status, defect metrics, and release readiness inputsCollaborate closely with product owners, mobile teams, service teams, and release managementRequired Skills & Experience7+ years of software testing experience with strong handson mobile testingProven ownership of UAT cycles for customerfacing applicationsStrong defect analysis and triage skillsUnderstanding of clientserver systems, APIs, and asynchronous workflowsExperience with:TestRail (test management)Jira (defect tracking)Mobile app distribution tools (e.g., TestFlight or equivalent)Preferred ExperienceExperience with largescale consumer applications, connected platforms, orIoTadjacent productsExposure to test automation frameworks or hybrid testing strategiesTools & EnvironmentTest Management: TestRailDefect Tracking: JiraApp Distribution: TestFlight (iOS), Android app distribution toolsDebugging: Mobile device logs and standard diagnostic toolsLocation: (Farmington Hills, MI) Disclaimer: Kyyba is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
