Job Description

As a Security Officer Morgue Patrol Driver in Mayfield Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, badge and/or credential checks, and other security-related support functions based on site requirements.
• Support hospital and clinic operations by observing for policy violations, assisting during urgent situations, and coordinating with staff and/or first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Compliance with hospital vaccination requirements is required.
• This hospital assignment may include work in or around a morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
