Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $70,000–$85,000 annually Monthly bonus program eligibility $1,000 annual continuing education allowance Student loan reimbursement opportunities Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree required Current and active Kansas Physical Therapy license required Interest in outpatient orthopedics and/or pelvic health Strong commitment to evidence‑based care and clinical excellence Desire for continued professional growth and learning Strong interpersonal and communication abilities How You’ll Make an Impact As a Physical Therapist, you will help patients regain function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most to them through individualized care and meaningful patient relationships. You will have the opportunity to provide one‑on‑one care while collaborating closely with patients and team members throughout the rehabilitation process. Responsibilities: Evaluate patients and identify movement dysfunctions and functional limitations Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings Provide one‑on‑one interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education, and physical agents as appropriate Document evaluations, treatment sessions, goals, and patient progress accurately and efficiently Monitor outcomes and modify treatment plans to maximize patient progress Educate patients and families regarding home programs and recovery expectations Collaborate with referring providers and clinic staff to coordinate care Ensure informed consent and communicate treatment expectations appropriately Discharge patients appropriately and provide recommendations or referrals as needed Skills: Active listening and effective communication skills Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities Clinical reasoning using evidence‑based principles Ability to adapt and learn new treatment techniques Strong written documentation skills Ability to build rapport and establish patient trust Service‑oriented mindset focused on patient success Excellent time management and organizational abilities Mentorship & Professional Growth HelioKC invests in its clinicians through mentorship, continuing education support, and opportunities for long‑term career development.
