Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician

Job Details Pediatric Emergency Medicine Clinician – ER, Texas Envision is seeking an independent contractor pediatric emergency medicine clinician to provide coverage for our emergency department on a 50‑hour weekly basis. Shift options include 6a‑4p, 8a‑6p, 2p‑12a, 4p‑2a, 9p‑6a, and 12p‑8p (Surge Shift). The role involves 24/7 in‑house PICU care with pediatric subspecialty coverage. Key responsibilities: Provide emergency care for approximately 32 pediatric patients per day, with an annual volume of about 18,000 cases. Serve as the primary pediatric emergency physician at a Level II Trauma Center. Collaborate with subspecialty teams, including Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Genetics, Infectious Diseases, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pulmonology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Urology. Compensate as an independent contractor (1099) with competitive rates and malpractice coverage provided. Receive paid travel and lodging under concierge‑level arrangements. Required qualifications: Active Texas medical license. Completed fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (or comparable training).
