Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist for a position located in Smyrna, Georgia. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures with a focus on patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality. The candidate will be responsible for executing high-quality scans while maintaining excellent patient care and adhering to safety protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire, including ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography), ARRT-CT (ARRT Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support). Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiology and less than 1 year in CT.
• Must exhibit excellent communication skills to interact effectively with physicians, patients, visitors, departmental staff, and nursing staff.
• Ability to explain procedures, give directions, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Competent in all aspects of CT imaging, including patient positioning, exposure factors, radiation protection, and adherence to protocols.
• Must have an understanding of anatomy and pathology affecting procedure quality, as well as competency in performing Quality Control tests as recommended by the American College of Radiology and manufacturer standards.
• The position requires the employee to be independent yet collaborative, following all hospital policies and professional standards.
• Additional Information: This role involves working in a fast-paced clinical environment requiring high attention to patient care standards and safety protocols.
